Zack Snyder teases Snyder Cut of Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Zack Snyder hit back at the lukewarm critical reception to Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the four hour long director’s cut of the 2017 superhero film which today premiered on HBOMax, insisting that it is unfair to judge him on a film beset by studio meddling. “It really doesn’t bother me when people call this film long, indulgent, boring or a colossal waste of money or whatever,” revealed Snyder, “Zack Snyder’s Justice League isn’t my true creative vision and I don’t understand how anyone can expect me to create art under such limitations. It does pain me though because I know if audiences and critics saw my true definite Snyder cut of Zack Snyder’s Justice League it would blow their minds. There’s a ten day edit of the film out there and I just wish everyone could see it. Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker is in there. Spider-Man is in there. Vishnu is in there. It’s awesome.”

Within minutes of Snyder’s comments #ReleaseTheSnyderCutSnyderCut began trending on Twitter and a mob of fanboys stormed the offices of Warner Brothers in Burbank, demanding the release of the film. CEO Ann Sarnoff was taken hostage by a group of men dressed as the Joker who outlined their demands.

“We hereby demand that Warner Brothers release the full ten day cut of Zack Snyder’s visionary reimagining of Zack Snyder’s Justice League” stated a man dressed as Jared Leto’s Joker.

“Along with this, we insist that you #RestoreTheSnyderVerse and give us the films we have been robbed of by studio meddling, including but not limited to Zack Snyder’s Batman, Zack Snyder’s Green Lantern, Zack Snyder’s The Flash, Zack Snyder’s Martian Manhunter, Zack Snyder’s Cyborg, Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2 and Zack Snyder’s Zack Snyder’s Justice League 2” issued a man dressed as Heath Ledger’s Joker.

“Furthermore, we have heard rumor of other Snyder Cuts and we will thereby be demanding the release of the Snyder Cut of Fight Club, the Snyder Cut of Taxi Driver and the Snyder Cut of Good Will Hunting” continued a man dressed as Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.

“Also, we demand that you release the four hour Snyder Cut of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” insisted a man dressed as an owl. The standoff in Burbank remains tense, with a S.W.A.T. team surrounding the building, Snyder himself is being flown in to negotiate after the fanboys rejected an opening offer of a Zack Snyder animated Justice League TV show and a tweet of “Marvel sucks” from the official Warner Brothers account.
