Baby Yoda fired for conservative social media posts

The star of Disney+’s hit show, The Mandalorian, was fired earlier this week in what many consider a “liberal elite assault on free speech.” Baby Yoda, otherwise known as Grogu, had been warned in the past for contentious posts questioning the destruction of Alderan, insisting the figures were exaggerated: “Suddenly silenced millions of voices were? Closer to thousands, I think. Hmmm?”

Despite an official caution from his employer, Baby Yoda continued to court controversy with a series of tweets aimed at what he termed the “Toydarian elites controlling the world order.”

However the final straw came when Baby Yoda posted a meme to Instagram, likening the persecution of conservatives to the systematic execution of the Jedi under Order 66.  Disney announced the firing of Baby Yoda with a simple statement which read that “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away hate speech shall not be tolerated.”

It is not clear yet whether Baby Yoda will be written out of the show or recast. Should Disney pursue recasting, leading candidates for the role include Kermit the Frog, Gizmo from Gremlins and a digitally de-aged Adult Yoda.

Baby Yoda, meanwhile, has signed on to star in The Daily Caller’s remake of The Searchers. The Right-Wing new publication have taken their first steps into film production and producer Ben Shapiro spoke of his delight at securing one of Hollywood’s biggest stars: “Liberals are threatened by conventional masculinity. That’s simply a fact. Now believe me, nobody is more aware than me that given the option to debate you in the marketplace of ideas, a liberal’s instinct will always be to shoot first. To preemptively silence you because they are scared of the power you represent.

Now you look at Grogu,” continued Shapiro, “and it’s no wonder why he was so triggering to the left. I look at Grogu and I see a towering, commanding, virile presence. Someone who reminded me very much of myself. So of course we wanted to work with him. John Wayne, Charlton Heston… Baby Yoda. He’s the latest in a long lineage of  traditionally masculine, conservative movie stars so when we decided to remake one of the greatest conservative movies there was no choice. He had recently become available and Jon Voight was up in Canada shooting Baby Geniuses IIX.”
